My Little C – how I love and admire thee! You are such a trooper my darling. Your courage and patience is beyond a 7-year-old girl in my books. The past week, though you have had a number of reasons to whine and complain, to scream and shout, you have chilled and listened so incredibly well. I want to thank you for being so wonderful and so brave. I cherish the times we have spent in the emergency, hanging out in the hospital rooms, never knowing when we will get to go home. Whether we be chatting, watching a movie, colouring, reading, or cuddling in silence, it is a good reminder for me to slow down and smell the flowers and do the above more often at home.
Your spirit always amazes me as well. Not many people can say they wake up, unable to move their legs due to so much pain and politely request we carry you downstairs, get you some orange juice, and turn a movie on. Then in the hospital, your willingness to accept the request of the youth services gal and go play games in the kids lobby, though you were not feeling yourself, you did your best and I commend you.
To see you and Brie dress up as RockStars, use the couch as your stage, and rock out with the Camp Rock movies today was awesome! You’re AWESOME and I just wanted to make sure you knew that – love you tons!!! xoxoxox
