Yam Crisps are Tasty, Simple & Nutritious! 🙂 They definitely aren’t fancy, but uber popular!  I am sure you could create a variety of colourful options, I have been told that using fresh beets works great too.

This time I thinly sliced some yams/sweet potatoes, layered the base of the pan with coconut oil (or olive oil), placed yams on tray, brushed with oil and sprinkled basil/thyme/salt, and put parchment paper trays in the oven for about 45 minutes at 375*.



Doesn’t hurt to make extra to have with eggs for breaky, or leftovers with lunch! Drizzling a balsamic reduction could spice them up visually and taste if you want to switch it up a little.


Ingredients: Sweet Potatoe/Yams, Spices (basil, thyme, rosemary, pepper, salt, etc), & coconut oil/olive oil
